Changing perspectives: people’s attitudes and perceptions about gender equality communication package for civil society organisations
Here is a document from a public opinion survey aimed at reviewing people’s attitudes and perceptions related to gender equality.
The findings relate to typical stereotypes and prejudices of the population in this area, which can be addressed through broad cooperation and through institutional action. The goal is also to identify points where connections and differences can be found between people regarding gender roles in the family, attitudes towards inheritance, perceptions of leadership, attitudes towards women’s participation in politics, the labour market, and everything else that constitutes the current polarisation of relations between men and women, girls and boys.
The ultimate goal of the outcome of this survey is to identify possible connection points between all stakeholders based on the data obtained, as well as possible actions to promote gender equality. The overall text contains a brief theoretical section, however, the key findings of the study are based on data sourced from research tools, which include field surveys, focus groups, and professional interviews.
The publication is available in Macedonian, Albanian, and English.
Additionally, based on the public opinion research on gender equality, the publication Changing Perspectives: Attitudes and Perceptions on Gender Equality – Communication Package for Politicians and Political Parties was also prepared. It is available in Macedonian, Albanian, and English.
