The Annual Assembly Meeting of HERA for 2024 was held today, September 21st. Achievements and activities from the past year were presented to the numerous members in attendance. The event began with a welcoming speech by President Rumena Gjerdovska Kojcheski, who emphasized the importance of teamwork and the commitment of members to successfully implement the organization’s programs and initiatives. Following her opening remarks, she presented the Annual Program Report for 2023 and introduced the new Communication Strategy for the organization, highlighting the importance of transparency and public engagement in their work.
The financial report for 2023 was presented by Mari Kokanovska, the secretary of the Management Board, who provided a detailed explanation of the results and the financial goals achieved. Additionally, Ana Poprizova, a member of the Management Board, shared the success story of the MM Center—the Center for the Support of Men and Boys—which achieved significant results throughout the year.
This year, seven new members were introduced to the Assembly, each expressing their support for HERA’s mission and vision while sharing their motivations for joining the organization. Additionally, a new youth representative was elected to the Management Board, reaffirming HERA’s commitment to actively involving young people in decision-making.
