Kristijan Nushkov graduates from the Institute for Social Work and Social Policy at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. He starts working in the civil society sector right after his studies, firstly for 5 years at HOPS, as an HIV testing counselor within the Drug harm reduction program.
For the next eleven years he has worked in the SOS Children’s Village Skopje as a program coordinator in the Counseling Center for Parents and Children in the municipality of Shuto Orizari. There he has also worked as a family counselor, providing support to families with minor children at social risk, with the aim to empower them and ensure self-sustainability. He is a licensed social worker.
He has been involved in the work of HERA since the beginning of 2022, as a project coordinator responsible for coordinating and providing continuous support and evaluation of the work of health practices that would pilot sexual and reproductive health services.
