Aleksandra Danailovska was born in Skopje. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Institute of Security, Defense and Peace at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje and continued with her Master studies in International Relations at the University of Ljubljana.
Her involvement in the civic sector begins in 2016, when she became the vice-president of the “Carl von Clausewitz” Institute for Security and Peace Research, where she was working in the field of peace and security in her country.
During her studies, she was a volunteer in the Disaster Response Team of the City Red Cross of Skopje, where she not only gained practical experience in emergencies but also developed sensibility to work with socially excluded people.
She joined HERA’s team in 2019 as a project assistant on UNFPA’s project “Increased national capacity to formulate and implement rights-based policies of integrated sexual and reproductive health services, including in humanitarian settings”.
