The assessment was done within the project “Protection against discrimination on LGBT at local level” currently implemented by HERA and the Coalition ‘Sexual and Health Rights of Marginalized Communities’. Its objective is to determine the organization of protection mechanisms against discrimination at local level, their capacity to implement the legal requirements as well as their effectiveness in providing protection against discrimination, particularly against discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation or gender identity.<\/p>\n

The assessment results will help further formulate the activities aiming to improve the institutional response at local level, build their capacities and provide better protection against discrimination based on sex, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/p>\n
