Recent changes to the legislation on abortion adopted within an accelerated procedure, without consulting the expert public and lacking public debate, limit women’s right of free choice and additionally complicate and bureaucratize the process of obtaining the health service of abortion.\u00a0Therefore, we have decided to examine attitudes among the general public and the expert public (gynecologists) towards abortion and the new legal changes on termination of unwanted pregnancy as well as to examine the awareness for \u201cChoose life, you have a right of choice\u201d television campaign against abortion and its impact on citizens\u2019 attitudes towards abortion.<\/p>\n
