Elizabetа Bozhinoska graduated in Social Work and Policy from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. She started working in HERA in 2005 at the Counseling center for psycho-social support for People living with HIV. Since 2007, she has been working as a coordinator of the HIV Program at HERA’s Executive Office.

Elizabeta is responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of projects in the field of HIV with special focus on voluntary HIV counseling and testing, advocacy for HIV prevention and access to health and social services for people living with HIV.

Furthermore, she is actively involved in social inclusion advocacy, primarily gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health and rights of Roma girls and women. Elizabeta has a long-year research experience in the fields of HIV, sexual and reproductive health among socially excluded people and of gender equality.

Since 2011 she has been a member in the EU Inclusion Strategies Group within the European Anti-Poverty Network.
